The Associate Arts Degree Diploma is designed to provide you with a platform to build knowledge and understanding on topics like communications, mathematics, science, humanities etc. and gives you the flexibility to further select elective courses according to your interests and career goals. The first half includes broad based studies
while the second half focuses on Electives that can lead to majors in Engineering, Science, Arts or Business.

The Associate Arts (AA) degree allows students to get a conditional letter of admission from the following Broward partner universities for years 3 and 4 : University of South Florida, Concordia College, Florida International University, Wayne State University, University of Findlay, Arizona State University, University of Missouri, Columbia and Saint Thomas University, Miami.

The curriculum for the first two years is the Broward College Associate of Arts degree program. It comprises 60 college credits – 36 credits in General Education (Communications, Mathematics, Social Science, Humanities, and Natural Sciences) and 24 credits in Electives that can lead to majors in Engineering, Science, Arts or Business,

The curriculum for years 3 and 4 depends on the university to which the student transfers. Students will typically complete their major subject requirements, and other requirements for obtaining a Bachelor of Science (BS) or a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from the Broward College.
